There’s nothing quite like the bond between a father and son. It’s a relationship that can influence who you become later on in life, and even determine the type of parent you’ll be. Here at Wimp, we’ve shared several videos showing the unique ways children have fun with their parents, whether it’s during bedtime or an interview. The world can’t get enough of fun parent-child videos, and neither can we. In the video below, father and son decide to take an afternoon drive while listening to their favorite song. When the cameras start rolling, it quickly becomes apparent that this isn’t a typical car ride.
The adorable duo sings Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr.’s rendition of “Me and My Shadow” without skipping a single lyric. Matching the vocal talent of Frank Sinatra is no easy task, but these two manage to pull off his singing style flawlessly and have a lot of fun while doing so. “Me and My Shadow” was originally recorded in 1927 by Billy Rose, and later covered by Sinatra and Davis Jr. in 1967. Even after almost 50 years, the song is as catchy as it was when it originally came out.
After watching this father-son performance, I think you’ll agree that this dad is an excellent parent. Not only will his kid grow up with amazing music taste, but he’ll also remember all the good times he had with his dad. I’m sure that we’ll hear more from them in the future.
